:: Highlights from the recent OCC Holiday Edition!

Ottawa Comiccon Holiday is one of my favourite shows every year. And Nate Macisaac has put together a cool montage video of the highlights. Check out his video on YouTube!

:: Liam is edited now

In a Galaxy Far, Far AwRy has acquired Sandy Larabie Publishing Ltd. as an editor. There. Sounds official so it is. Suckas.

:: Open at Christmas?

Yes, everything is closed at Christmas...except IAGFFA! If you have any questions, want to know what's coming up next year, want to chitchat, or are just generally lonely, hit me up here or on any of IAGFFA's social channels (check the footer). Here's hoping you have great holidays!

:: E-book 0 not on Amazon? Why the holy hoohah not??

It's true. The Story So Far as an e-book isn't available on Amazon US, Canada, UK, or anywhere. Why the holy hoohah not? The reason is that a good portion of the book--about 75 percent--is freely available right here, and Amazon doesn't sell material that's available for free online.

There's good reason, and I actually agree with them. They don't want to tick off their clientele by selling books that the buyer then finds out is freely available. That's not good business logic, and it hurts the book economy as a whole if people start suspecting that things they see are free elsewhere.

But fear not. If you want the e-book, there are plenty of other places to grab it or its paperback cousin. So, while IAGFFA supports Amazon's decision to not list the e-book, we still have it available elsewhere!

:: IAGFFA on Rogers 22

Evening again, y'all. Tune in tomorrow, August 30th, from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Rogers 22 to see Dylan Black and I chat up your favourite goofball space comedy, In a Galaxy Far, Far AwRy. Topics range from the series to why cinnamon buns taste so wildly amazing. We'll probably err on the side of the series though.

:: Fan Expo 2019 pics are up!

Hello, my lovely friends, on the IAGFFA Facebook page, I've got a smack-dab of photos from this past weekend's Fan Expo waiting for you. From Frank West to Princess Leia to, of course, Master Asinine, there's a raging ton of cosplay action to be seen.

With me this time were crewmembers Zoe and Colin, and we had such a wild time, it'll be that much harder waiting for Fan Expo 2020.

I'm still tagging and hashtagging, but if you see yourself or a friend, make yourself at home and tag away.

Dig in!

:: Hear ye, hear ye, Fanaticcon fanatics!

.Holy Bojangles, Fanaticcon was a raging success! And, by, "raging success," I mean it was a raging success. Thanks to all who came out and supported the show, supported the artists, and supported that weird idiot in the middle with those ridiculous IAGFFA books. I didn't take nearly as many pics as I wanted to, but I was so busy with chatting it up with all of you that it was still amazing. Looking forward to next year's success.

:: The Story So Far installments edited

Crazy new versions of The Story So Far are up and atcha in the Freebies section, y'all! I just ran the stories through the professional-editor rigamarole, and feedback is now incorporated into 'em. Nothing major to check out, but give it a whirl. Let's face it: these edits aren't going to change the face of history, but they're worth giving a second go.

:: Issue 0 coming soon

Happy New Year! And with happy new years comes happier news. I'll soon be collecting all those Story So Far freebies into good ol' paper format for handy-dandy purchase!

You're probably asking yourself, "Why would I purchase something I can get for free?" Yeah, good question. Here are two good answers: (1) it's one way to support the series, (2, and even better) I'll be cramming the book with exclusive stuff like thoughts and trivia on characters, the evolution of the series from inception to publication, and whatever other junky nonsense I can think of.

Publication date is pending, but keep watch on this space for more info soon.
